Paul graduated with a Bachelor of Economics from University of New England in 1978 with a major in Economics and Accounting. He is a fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia. Paul has a specific interest is direct equity investment and searching for new opportunities.

Paul has been with Newell Palmer Securities since its inception and was appointed a director in 1984.
